Biography:

Jennie Corbett is a policy analyst at RAND Europe, focusing primarily on migration and health policy. She holds an M.Sc. in Migration, Mobility and Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London as well as a B.A. (Hons.) in Politics and Spanish from University College Dublin, Ireland. Jennie joined RAND Europe as a research assistant and prior to that worked with various community organisations providing support to asylum-seekers and refugees, as well as with the European Commission’s international development office. Current and recent research includes an evaluation of a European programme for migrant and refugee support and advocacy, an evaluation of the emergency education response to Syrian refugees in Jordan and a study on advancing community hospital models for the NHS in England. Jennie’s particular research interests include refugee integration and social and structural determinants of health inequalities, particularly those experienced by migrants. She is part of the editorial team for the International Refugee Rights Initiative’s Rights In Exile newsletter, a free information resource for refugee legal aid practitioners.
