Biography:

I am a PhD Student at the Department of Politics and International studies looking at Islamic revivalist activism in France, under the supervision of Dr Sara Silvestri. Through an ethnographic approach, I intend to study how Islamic reformist narratives and practices are actively reworked in the Muslim-minority settings of French cities. More specifically, I would like to provide a demystified and refined account of these organisations' history by analyzing biographical trajectories, ordinary discourses and daily activities.

Research Interests

  • Muslim Minorities and Religious Diaspora
