Biography:

Yewa Holiday completed her BA (Hons) Law at Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge University. She has an LLM in International Law (First class) from Cambridge and an LLM in International Criminal Law (Distinction) from the University of Sussex. She was called to the Bar at Middle Temple in 1996. She worked at the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) from 1998-2013. Yewa started her PhD full time in September 2012 having been awarded a Graduate Teaching Assistantship by Queen Mary’s School of Law. She teaches criminal law. Yewa is a doctoral affiliate at the Refugee Law Initiative. She advises on article 31(1) related issues.
