The Human Rights of Women and Minorities in Iraq - Pascale Warda

Both women and minorities are facing gruelling challenges in Iraq. While some Christians and Yazidis are returning to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of ISIS attacks, women are facing growing violence and discrimination.

Pascale Warda is President of the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization in Iraq. She is the former Iraqi Minister of Migration and Displacement, and has extensive experience in research and activism for the rights of women, minorities and internally displaced populations.
